Daikin is a major worldwide developer and manufacturer of air conditioning units. Pilsen branch of Daikin Industries Czech Republic Ltd. (DICz) was established in May 2003 and at the same time, the foundations of the Daikin production complex, located in the Pilsen industrial zone of Borska pole, were laid. Thus, Daikin industrial premises, with their planned and targeted growth, have become one of the main dominants of the Borska pole area.

EMEA Development Center
In 2012, the Pilsen branch started its expansion by building its own development center (EDC – EMEA Development Center) to develop new products designed specifically for rapidly changing customer needs and local needs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets. Thanks to this focus on continuous innovation and the subsequent sale of modern and energy-efficient solutions that meet the expectations of demanding customers, Daikin keeps ahead of the competition.
